A lot has happened with the Oracle Integration Cloud lately. The new gen is now running natively on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This re-architecture will bring lots of benefits from the tight coupling with OCI.
OIC Gen 3 is still being rolled out. I see it is now available in my tenancy so I will give it a spin!
Create Instance
The first noticeable thing was how fast it created the instance – it took a couple of minutes!
When I tried to open it, it actually give me some unauthorized message – this is what one gets by not reading the documentation. You need to add the instance roles to your user or to a group you belong to.
Once the access was granted, all worked as expected – below is the landing page for the new OIC.
It brings an updated redwood design, in line with the latest UX developments within Oracle.
Worthwhile mentioned that services like the File Server, Visual Builder, and Process Automation can be enabled in the OCI Integration Console.
